About
Carlson & Mosley Architects was founded by architects Lance Carlson and Marc Mosley in 2002. The firm is based in Atlanta, and serves clients throughout the Eastern United States. We have provided services to a wide range of institutional, commercial and residential clients, including Life University, Truett-McConnell College, Oxford College, Manheim Auctions, The City of Cornelia, Partners and Associates, and Gay Construction, as well as homeowners from the Gulf Coast of Florida to East Hampton, New York. We are currently licensed in Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Our philosophy is threefold. First, we believe in creating architecture that expresses a unique sense of place. We design spaces that inspire, innovate and stir something in everyone who experiences them.
Second, with each project we strive to apply the principles of New Urbanism and Green Architecture. Our goal is to achieve an enduring design that engages the community and adds beauty to the environment.
Third, we believe that, as Sir Edwin Lutyens said, “There will never be great architecture without great patrons.” We work in partnership with our clients, exploring their needs and striving to understand every aspect of how the building or home will be used. We are committed to delivering an end product that exceeds our client’s requirements, be it a high-tech business environment, a space devoted to learning or a peaceful and welcoming home.
